Career Path
Whitfield Construction Consultants Limited was formed by Mike Whitfield, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with 40 years experience of all forms of construction project, large and small, gained from previously working for private practices, local government, contractor and developers.
Mike commenced his career with an established private practice in Norwich, providing an excellent grounding in the provision of traditional quantity surveying services, whilst also sponsoring his studies for RICS membership via correspondance course at Reading University.
He further developed his experience by later working for local government, contractor and developer. This has proved invaluable, in order to fully appreciate all aspects of the construction industry.
Mike then spent over 20 years working for one of the largest and most respected firms of quantity surveyors in the world. This gave him experience of some large and complicated construction projects. However, he retains the desire to work on projects where he can really make a difference.
